V&S Pharmaceuticals Limited is a private limited liability company which was established in 1980 as a sole proprietor business. This increased in size and volume of transactions over the years thus requiring increased investment which allowed the company to develop into a much larger private company that it is today. The business is currently owned by one of the founding members Mr. Varune Persad who plays an important role in the decision making at the business.

The business is a main supplier of various chemicals used in the pharmaceutical industry and also imports finished products for re-distribution to other pharmacies.

From a small back room operation in 1980 where importing chemicals for re-distribution and sales of generic drugs were main sources of income, the business has now grown into a fully functional complex company comprising of many departments. The business has transformed from fully labor intensive to semi automated and may even become fully automated in the near future. The staff has grown from a single person to over seventy-five skilled members over the past thirty-four years.
